内容介绍 :	Mrs. Wong, who is living on the 1st floor, is proud and despises the Luk's family who has just moved in the 2nd floor. However, she changes her attitude towards them after knowing that the Luks has family business. Meanwhile, Mrs. Wong's daughter On-na is falling in love with Luk's son Tai-wai, whilst Wong's servant Ah Kau is loving Luk's maid Ah Kiu, leading to closer relation between the Wong's and Luk's families. The two families pass the days sweetly. Tai-wai is a doctor whilst On-na is a nurse. Nevertheless, Tai-wai is dissatisfied with On-na's excessive care for patients. They start quarrelling and Tai-wai tries to drown sorrow by drinking . He mistakes Ah Kiu as On-na when drunk. Mrs. Luk even instructs Ah Kiu to pretend to be On-na in order to comfort Tai-wai. Ah Kau finds the situation dangerous so that he begs On-na and Tai- wai to resume their relation. As a result, On-na and Tai-wai become intimate lovers again. When it comes to discussion of their marriage affair, the Luk's family demands the marriage to be in Chinese format while the Wong's family insists in Western style. Both families refuse to compromise and they come to a deadlock. They even build a seal off in between the two floors. Afterwards, Mrs. Luk's leg is injured and Mrs. Wong suffers from stomach ulcers. They need the care by Tai- wai and On-na, so that the blockade between the two floors is broken. The two families turn from enemies into relatives by marriage.
