内容介绍 :	A woman, Wong Sau-mui, who claims that she has killed a socialite, Nam Pik-sin, tries to kill herself to avoid facing the consequences. Fortunately, Sau is saved by Inspector Wah-hak, who takes her back to the scene of the crime for an investigation. Multiple gunshot wounds are found on the dead person, with the fatal wound in the chest. Hark is then ready to arrest Wong, but when two other women, Ai Yee-Wah and Wu King-chu go to him to confess to the murder, he is puzzled. From their statement, Wah-hak finds out that Nam and her partner, Siu Yat-hung, have long been involved in fraudulent activities and that the three women are victims who have suffered and paid at the cost of their families. When they all went to Nam at the same time to complain and demand compensation, a brawl started and Nam was slightly injured. Nam then pretended to be dead. The three panicky women mistakenly believed that they have accidentally killed somebody and fled the scene in terror. After the evidence has been gathered, his professional instinct tells Wah-hak that Siu is the prime suspect in the crime. After being interrogated, Siu finally speaks the truth. It turns out that after Nam had successfully deceived the three women by her apparent death, she tried to flee overseas. But because of a dispute over money, she broke up with Siu, who in turn killed her in anger. Siu is convicted and the three women are acquitted of the crime.
