内容介绍 :	The Chan family is originally a happy middle class family. Mr. Chan Tai-lin is a manager at a western company and Mrs. Chan is smart and diligent. Their eldest daughter Mei-wah works at a company while the younger daughter Mei-fung is studying in school. However, from the day they see their neighbors' daughter marries a rich man and becomes very respectable, they start to dream that their daughters can turn into rich ladies as well. To achieve their dream, they first move to a high-class residential area to show their status. However, that costs them a heavy debt. Wong Hoi-ching is a rich young man who entertains himself by dating girls. He is after Mei-wah . Mr. and Mrs. Chan are very pleased by this. They even invite Hoi-ching's family for a visit. However, they are savaged by the Wong family. The parents still do not realize their faults, even though Mei-fung tries to reason with them. Mei-wah reluctantly agrees to date with Hoi-ching to please her parents, but she is almost raped. The parents try to use the incident as an excuse to force the Wong family to agree the marriage. However, the Wong family tells the Chans that they owe them a heavy debt, and asks the Chans to repay all the debt immediately. The two parents wake up from their dream and move back to the old house.
