内容介绍 :	Lam Siu-lan has returned to Hong Kong from Singapore and plans to get married with her fiancee Wong Shu-hung. Her mother, who has returned with her, is fairly disappointed with Shu-hung's financial position. She requires Shu-hung to have his own flat before he can marry Siu-lan. Shu-hung is a designer in a trading company and his works catch the fancy of a rich merchant Chan Pak-chung, who plans to sign a contract with the trading company. Shu-hung's superior Manager Pang gives Shu-hung an entertainment fee of $2000 before he gives him commission. Siu-lan's mother eggs him on to use the $2000 as deposit to buy a flat, and he really does so. Unexpectedly, the co-operation is cancelled and Manager Pang asks Shu-hung to return the $2000. As Shu-hung is unable to repay, Siu-lan borrows $2000 from her cousin Kwok Kang-yuen to help him repay the debt. But Shu-hung goes so far as to think that Siu-lan is unfaithful to him and drives her and her mother away. They are taken by Kang-yuen who, having failed to rape Siu-lan, also expels them. Shu-hung is held in high regard by Pak-chung and makes rapid advances in his career. He meets Siu-lan again in his factory and manages to get her forgiveness. The two can finally become man and wife.
