内容介绍 :	Kin, working in Pak-cheung's company, is given a lot of responsibility. Kin has a good friend, Ming, who has just returned from the UK, hoping to re-establish his relationship with Cheung's daughter, Tsi-lo. This, however, arouses Kin's jealousy. Ming, too, begins to notice Kin's strange behaviour and realises that during his absence, Kin had fallen in love with Tsi-lo. The love affair, however, did not flourish as Kin was crippled in a traffic accident. The case of a headless monk has disturbed the community, Cheung seeming to be most bothered by it. After several disturbances brought about by the headless corpse, Kin finally discovers that the whole mystery of the corpse is a scheme hatched by Cheung's gardener. Cheung becomes physically indisposed after suffering from shock. Just as people are beginning to think the whole affair would subside after the gardener has been identified, the corpse attacks again, and this time tries to kill Cheung. Kin finds the case more suspicious and in the course of investigation, he finds out that Ming was behind it all along. However , for old time's sake, he does not want to turn him in. When Ming realises that his scheme has been exposed, he reveals the whole truth to Kin: It turns out that during the Japanese occupation, Cheung, disguised as a monk, had Ming's entire family killed. Since then, Ming has collaborated with the gardener to avenge his family. Just as Ming is about to kill Kin, the police arrive. At this point, Kin still wants to cover up for Ming by admitting everything. Ming is moved by Kin's true friendship and confesses to the police that it was he who committed all the crimes.
