内容介绍 :	Cheung Kim-hung ignores his mother's objection and marries Wai Suk-mei. They have sexual relation before marriage. During their wedding, Kim-hung receives the news that his father has passed away. He goes to Shanghai immediately for the funeral of his father, so he and Suk-mei haven't consummated the marriage yet. The ship that Kim-hung boarded has sunk. Everybody believes that Kim-hung has died, and the Cheung's family has no offspring. Kim-hung's cousin Chan Kai-ping is greedy for the property of Cheung's family. He has asked for adoption many times but the Cheung's family refuses. He then asks a dance-hostess Ma So-mui to pretend that she is carrying the baby of Kim-hung. The Cheung's family believes her and treats her as real daughter-in-law. The family even wants to drive Suk-mei away . Suk-mei is willing to become a servant in return for staying. Kai-ping knows that Suk-mei is pregnant. Fearing that his plan will fail, he claims he is the father of the baby. Suk-mei is thus expelled to the firewood storeroom. Kim-hung hasn't died yet. He comes back and exposes the trick of Kai-ping and So-mui. He reunites with Suk-mei and their new born baby.
