内容介绍 :	Constable Wong Yat-chung refuses to be part of dirty deals. In the process of investigating a case of corruption, his colleague Mok Sum shot him in the head. Although he was lucky enough to recover from the injury, the psychologist does not recommended him for reinstatement on the grounds that Wong is incompatible with other colleagues as a result of his refusal to take bribes. Meanwhile, Maclehose starts his term of service as Governor of Hong Kong with the vision of fighting corruption in the colony. He appoints barrister Annie Ma to recruit and co-ordinate people for the mission. Wong is invited to head the team: the Anti-corruption Special Administration Unit. Two other members: a martial arts expert, Yip Chun-wan and a streetwise fellow, Kam Sui, are also asked to join. Wong locates Mok Sum to find the whereabouts of a triad don, Luk Yat-chiu. Although Wong manages to find the triad's ledger by following the clues given by Mok , he is injured in action by Luk's men, but fortunately Annie rescues him. After he recovers, he is transferred to the investigative unit and a romantic relationship with Annie begins. Wong traces Mak Kay, an accountant who takes care of the triad's books. However, Kay is killed by Luk's men and so is Kam, who was there investigating Kay. After the incident, Wong and Annie feel the urgency to form the ICAC. Mok arranges to see Annie on Valentine's Day evening but is killed while trying to sneak into Luk's den, the Tai San Lumber warehouse. Wong, together with Yip, following a clue in the form of a chop, "Tai San Lumber" stamped on the murdered Mok's palm, go to the warehouse to avenge Mok's killing. Luk's lair is finally destroyed and the ICAC, under the leadership of Wong thereafter, continues its mission of fighting graft among government officials and police officers.
