内容介绍 :	The Jade Emperor is very angry because the Dragon-taming Arhat, while casually pairing people up, alters the God of Hell's Book of the Living and the Dead. The Arhat even lets the Cowherd and the Girl Weaver meet every day. The Jade Emperor wants to turn the Arhat into an animal, unable to transmigrate for 10 lives. But under the persuasion of the Avalokitesvara of the 9th Sky, the Jade Emperor lets the Arhat atone for his crime by good deeds. He wants the Arhat to become a man and prohibits him from using his magic. Three humans are destined to be a whore, a beggar and a local tyrant for nine lives. He has to persuade them not to be the persons they used to be. Then his sins will be forgiven. The Arhat becomes human and grows up as a monk. His nickname is the Mad Monk. He accepts the Nine- Lives Beggar as his follower, and helps him to regain his pride. He also repeatedly saves the Nine-Lives Whore and persuades her to take up other work. Gradually, the beggar and the whore change. But the Nine-Lives Local Tyrant is very stubborn. The Mad Monk couples threats with promises but the tyrant refuses to change. The Nine-Lives Local Tyrant has sold his conscience to the Black Demon. The Black Demon's wand has been taken away by Buddha, so he cannot harm humans. The Black Demon knows that his wand is in Kwok Ching Temple, guarded by the golden statue of the Mad Monk. The Black Demon orders the tyrant to kill the beggar. When the Mad Monk uses his golden statue to travel through hell to find the spirit of the beggar, the Black Demon conquers the statue and goes to Kwok Ching Temple to retrieve the wand. Thus, the Mad Monk loses a follower and the golden statue; the gods turn their backs on Kwok Ching Temple. In this desperate situation and under threat of being turn into wood, the Mad Monk still wants to marry the whore in a bid to lead her onto the right path. The whore decides to quit the job. The Mad Monk kills the tyrant, who repents before his death. The Mad Monk also beats the Black Demon. Not only can the Mad Monk return to heaven, but is also promoted three levels.
