| 内容介绍 : | Emperor Zhengde of Ming has longed for the natural view of the South. e asks Chow Kwok-leung to travels to Jiangnan incognito. On one hand, he can travel around; on the other, he can witness for himself how people live. One day, they come to Mui-lung Town. He is bewitched by the beautiful Lee Fung at the Dragon-and-Phoenix Inn when trying to stop a quarrel. Dragon-and-Phoenix Inn is ran by Fung, her elder brother Lee Lung and her younger sister Lee Ngan. De is romantic and handsome; Fung is very beautiful. They find each other congenial. De reveals his true identity and invests her with the title of palace official. De receives an imperial edict from his mother asking him to go back to Beijing to discuss some national affairs. He doesn't want to leave Fung, so his date of return is being delayed and delayed. His mother and the Empress Dowager know the love affair of De and Fung. They are very unhappy about this. Later, the queen mother pretends to be sick and asks De to come back immediately. De wants to bring Fung to Beijing, but the Empress objects. Upon hearing the news, the Empress dispatches Chow Kwok-leung to harm Fung. De learns it and he is filled with deep sorrow and becomes sick. Believing that Fung has fallen victim to the scheme, the emperor heads south to pay his last respect to Fung. De mourns in front of her grave, he is so despondent that he wants to become a monk at the West Mountain Temple. On the way , he meets Fung and learns to his delight that she is still alive. It turns out that Fung conceals her identity with the help of Leung. The Empress begs for the emperor's return and with the empress admitting to her fault, Fung enters the palace in the emperor's company. |
