内容介绍 :	The new year is approaching. The master of a big family Cheung Ah Fook uses this excuse to go out and visit the prostitutes in a brothel. But he is scolded bitterly by his wife when she discovers his behaviour. Scholar Ting-yuk goes to the imperial capital to sit for the examination, where he will also visit old woman Fa at his convenience. On his way, he meets Cheung's daughter Wan-leung. The two of them fall in love with each other at first sight. The young master of a rich family Poon On makes his marriage proposal to the Cheung family. To get more fortune for his family, Cheung decides to engage Wan-leung to marry Poon On. But Wan-leung hates the ugly Poon On and her heart is filled with Ting-yuk only. To be close to Wan-leung, Ting-yuk disguises himself as a woman and sneaks into the Cheung family. But it turns out that he is to Cheung's liking, who wants to make him his concubine. Wan -leung has an ugly elder sister Ah Liang. She finds out that Ting-yuk and Wan-leung have private meetings and express their love to each other. Ah Liang then seizes the opportunity to threaten Ting-yuk to marry her. As they quarrel , Ting-yuk's identity is disclosed. On the other hand, Cheung is scolded by his wife again, who orders Poon On and Wan-leung, Ting-yuk and Ah Liang to choose a wedding date. In the night of the wedding, Ting -yuk and Wan-leung exchange their identity and run away together. But it is a pity that they have been discovered by Cheung. The matter is taken to court, where the people accuse one another. Seeing that Ting-yuk is going to sit for the imperial examination soon, the officials fear that he might have a powerful back-up and ask the people to end their hatred and accusations. When Poon On and Ah Liang find that everything is settled and cannot be changed, they have no choice but to get married. Ting-yuk and Wan-leung finally get married and celebrate the new year with their family.
