内容介绍 :	Wai Man-chit and Cheung Tat-sze are classmates and good friends. They fall in love with To Kuen, the daughter of To Kwok-leung, their teacher. Man-chit's uncle Lau Sheung is an influential and treacherous court official while Tat-sze's father Cheung Shing is a loyal court official. Lau and Cheung disagree about who the crown prince should be. Kuen first admires Man-chit but then follows her father's will to marry Tat-sze. Lau successfully endorses the son of West Palace to become king. He becomes very powerful and influential. On the wedding day of Tat-sze and Kuen, Lau arrests Tat-sze and his father and wants to frame them. Man-chit comes to the rescue and helps Tat-sze escape . Lau warns that if Kuen and Man-chit do not get married, he will kill Cheung's family. Man-chit and Kuen pretend to agree in order to free Cheung's family. However, the Cheungs misunderstand them. Tat-sze successfully helps the Prince of East Palace to become king. Tat-sze punishes the treacherous officials including Lau. Tat-sze thinks that Man-chit steals his wife. He is also angry with Kuen for her indecency. Thus, he divorces Kuen and breaks Man-chit's leg . Finally, Tat-sze learns the truth. He regrets very much and lets Man-chit marry Kuen.
