内容介绍 :	Tat-wai comes from a wealthy family but falls in love with Ah-fun of a humble background. Fun is already seventeen but is still an illiterate. Her behavior is non-becoming but is a very intelligent girl. Wai wants to give her a chance but meets with family resistance. In rage, Wai leaves home. Since Fun's father passes away, Wai has been taking care of Fun. He teaches her to read and write in daytime, and works in a newspaper in the night. Soon, Wai falls ill out of over-exhaustion and is hospitalized. Fun has no skill and in order to pay for Wai's medical bills, she works as a cigarette girl in a nightclub. When Wai finds out, he does not appreciate Fun's motive and blames her for degrading herself for taking up such a job. He leaves in anger. In order to win Wai back, Fun learns singing and dancing from her good friend, hoping to master some kind of skill. She works hard and is able to achieve some success by being invited to perform abroad. Before her departure, Fun is invited to perform at Wai's house. When Wai sees what Fun has achieved, he is moved and once more he bids his relatives farewell and goes abroad with Fun.
