内容介绍 : | Ngan Chau-fung's family owes army Warload Yau money and is unable to repay the debt. Ngan's schoolmate Hai-tang asks her boyfriend Lau Yee-fung to help her. Yee-fung borrows money from Ling Chi-kin, who agrees to lend him money immediately. As a result, Chau-fung is out of danger. But as her mother has already been forced to death, Chau-fung loses her financial support and has no choice but to earn her living by singing in the street. Yee -fung and Hai-tang want to act as matchmakers between Chi-kin and Chau-fung. Thus, they arrange them to meet each other. As expected, the two of them fall in love at first sight. Chi-kin shows his love to Chau-fung, but Chau-fung's servant Uncle Cheung worries that he may be a playboy. He thus firmly refuses to allow the couple to maintain contact. It is not until he is seriously warned by Yee-fung that he finally understands Chi- kin's faithful love to Chau-fung. Originally, Chi-kin has an engagement with the army supervisor's daughter Suk-fun. But he loves Chau-fung deeply and quickly marries her. Suk-fun is so angry that she goes to the countryside to look for Chi-kin's father To-hin. As a result of her incitement, To-hin puts his son under house arrest and forces him to break off correspondence with Chau-fung. Chau-fung has given birth to a son and goes to look for Chi-kin. Suk-fun falsely claims that Chi-kin has died and persuades To-hin to trick Chau-fung to sign an agreement to break off relationship with Chi-kin. Chau-fung refuses and Suk-fun sends someone to set her home on fire. Uncle Cheung is burned to death. Later, Suk-fun seizes Chau-fung's son Siu-man. Chau-fung is extremely sad and goes everywhere in search of her son. |
