内容介绍 : | Ching-kwong is forced by poverty to cheat and is arrested. His wife Suk-yuen brings up their two daughters on her own. Suk-yuen's father Fong is cheated by Hack-lo. It makes him so provoked that he suffers from high blood pressure and dies. After Ching-kwong is released from prison, he and his wife take over Fong's jewelry business , turn it into clothes manufacturing and become rich. Their eldest daughter Siu-yuen is acquainted with Hon-po who is from a rich famiy. Hon-po's family oppose their friendship because they know Ching-kwong's history. Siu-yuen mistakes her father for a gangster but she comes to forgive him upon the explanation of Eighth Uncle. Some gangsters kidnap Hon-po. Ching-kwong raids the den of the gangsters on his own. He calls the police to save Hon-po and Hon-po's families reach an understanding of Ching-kwong. Siu-yuen and Hon-po become reconciled. |
