内容介绍 :	Fung-cheung and a rich girl So Ying-suet love each other, yet they come from very different social backgrounds. Meanwhile, the fortunes of the So's family decline. To revitalize the family's reputation, the master So Chuen proposes a marriage between her daughter Ying-suet and Chun Pak-hon, the son of the Duke of State Security Chun Hong-hau. Seeing this, Fung -cheung goes to join the army, not knowing that Suet is already pregnant. Suet agrees to marry Pak-hon for the sake of her father. On wedding day, Suet discovers that Pak-hon is fatally ill for a long time. Chun Hong -hau let Ying-suet manage the wealth of the Chun's family to express his thanks for her taking care of his sick son. Chuen is definitely delighted but the two younger sisters of Pak-hon, Fung-yee and Ho-hing, hate their father's arrangement deep in their hearts. Fortunately half brother Chung-yu mediates between the two parties. Suet gives birth to a daughter Siu-suet to carry on the Chun's family line. Fung-yee finds out that the baby has no blood relations with Pak -hon. She quarrels with Chuen and in the end she is attacked and killed. She is then buried. Her death is a blow to her father and Hong-hau eventually dies. Chung-yu takes up his duty as a friend to take care of Suet but Ho-hing keeps on fomenting discord. As a result, Siu-suet thinks that her mother and Chung-yu have illicit sexual relations. Fung-cheung has become a general. When he realises that a dispute occurs in Chun's family, he carries out an investigation. He extracts clues from Siu-suet and even pretends to resume the former intimate relationship with Ying-suet, with the ultimate aim of collecting evidence for the case. Ying-suet is extremely glad to meet her lover again. During the trial, she is overwhelmed by grief and indignation and spits blood. Her father cannot bear to see his daughter tormented by a false charge, so he tells the whole truth. He is immediately jailed. After so many twists and turns, Fung- cheung, Ying-suet and Siu-suet are finally reunited.
