内容介绍 :	During the Period of the Warring States, the King of Qin sends General Fan Yu-kei to Yan state, with the intention of inviting Prince Dan and his imperial concubine to Qin. However, the couple is held in confinement on their arrival. Admitting his perfidy , General Fan does not falter in rescuing them. Together the three seek refuge in Yan. The Qin Emperor is extremely furious. He sends his troops to besiege the capital of Yan. The powerful Qin state launches an attack on Yan state. Situated in a disadvantageous position, the panic-stricken Yan is at pains for ways to resist the invasion. Dan, the Prince of Yan, resists the invading forces feebly. Official Tien Kwang suggests sending someone to assassin the King of Qin; but first of all, the troops of the enemy state must retreat. Yan's imperial concubine is ready to risk her life by volunteering to go as an envoy to Qin. She makes a blank promise to the King of Qin that the head of General Fan will be presented to him later. This assurance successfully sends the Qin troops away. A Yan national warrior King Oh has always in mind of devoting oneself to the national causes. He often lingers on fairs, drinking to excess and singing wildly. All hope falls on Oh's assassination of the King of Qin. Official Tien does not hesitate to cut his throat to encourage Oh; Oh is reluctant to leave his mother, who first kills herself so that his son will have no worries. Yan hosts a banquet in honor of Oh. Hearing that Oh's favorite food is horse's liver, with no hesitation, King Dan follows suit and kills his beloved horse to present King with its liver; upon Oh's praise of the beautiful arm of Concubine Yan, she amputates her arm; General Fan kills himself to present his skull, so that Oh can take his head to Qin to facilitate the killing of the Qin emperor. Before Oh's departure, Dan leads his generals to bid him farewell.
