内容介绍 :	Cheung Wan has a wife who went through bad times with him. The couple have a son, Ah Ngau. However, he also keeps a mistress, Siu Kam-fung, and under her influence, the wife and the son are abandoned and left to survive on their own. When the mother dies, Ah Ngau returns home but Kam-fung treats him like a slave. When her son, Ah B is injured in an accident, Ah Ngau is blamed by his father and banished from the house. Ah Ngau sells newspapers for a living. One day, he is beaten up by other street kids and is hospitalised. Dr Au Mei-sin, herself an orphan, sympathises with his plight and decides to adopt him. At this point , Cheung Wan suffers a series of bad luck. His second son dies and his business collapses. With Kam-Fung continuing to indulge herself in luxury, he tries to search for Ah Ngau, but in vain. He decides to kill himself by jumping off a building but is saved. Kam-fung realises her past wrong and decides to find Ah Ngau. Dr Au brings about the reunion by allowing Ah Ngau to see his bedridden father. Cheung Wan and Kam-fung express regret for the past wrong. ( Extracted from the film brochure.)
