内容介绍 :	Lee Hei-wan has lost his job for days. He is in dire need of money for emergency use, as his wife is hospitalized for miscarriage and he has to take care of his paralyzed mother and two young daughters. In the end he has to borrow money from Chow; he is even compelled to assist this rascal in cheating people. His neighbor Hairdresser Tin has once suffered unemployment and his wife committed suicide. The incident makes Lee even more hesitant to reveal his personal situation to his wife. Lee's adverse situation gains the sympathy of Chow's girlfriend Lily, who brings him to borrow money from the nightclub at where she is working. But he runs across his wife there and the latter misconstrues him as seeking pleasures at nighttime. He sells his blood for money in supporting the expenses of his mother's birthday feast. However, his pale complexion makes the others think that he is taking drugs. A rupture gradually develops in his relationships with his family and his neighbors. Chow has schemed to compel Lee in involving in his cheating program. He steals passengers' suitcases at the pier. Coincidentally, a stolen suitcase belongs to Lee's mother-in-law, who is just arriving from Singapore. When Lee discovers this, he goes to Chow's home to get back the suitcase. But Chow strikes him hard and the blows severely injury the poor man. Lee is only able to get back the suitcase with the help of Lily. Lily tells all the others Lee's difficulties. In the end everything turns out well.
