内容介绍 :	A mother has five sons and daughters. The family members maintain their livings by operating a small store. The eldest son Cheung decides to start his business in Australia, but the steamship where the son is boarding sinks on the way. The second son Ming is occupied by the dream of marrying a rich girl in future – he is even willing to sacrifice the secure life of his mother and his fifth sister by asking them to sell the store. The third daughter Fong gets married but her husband often bullies her. She lives a rough life. As for the fourth son Kwong, he is a music lover and he goes to South East Asia for musical performances with his girlfriend Ah Wan. With the store being sold, the mother and the fifth daughter become homeless. They go to live as dependents of the rich second daughter-in-law, but the latter is mean and the second son is money-minded and not filial. The two are driven to seek refuge at the household of the third daughter. But the family has its hard nut to crack and at the end they are driven away by the third son-in-law. They end up squeezing themselves in the squatter of the fourth son and the fourth sister-in-law who newly weds with children. Although the couple is filial to the mother , they live in straitened circumstances and they have no money to support the newcomers. To lighten the burden of her son, the mother decides to work as a boarding maid. By coincidence, the daughter of her sister is in fact the girlfriend of her eldest son. She then realizes that her son Cheung was rescued in the shipwreck and he has already developed his business in Australia. The family ends up having a reunion in the master's home. The five offsprings feel in debt to the boundless love and understanding of their mother.
