内容介绍 : | (Continued from part one) The eldest, second, third and seventh sons of the Yeungs die in battle. Eighth Sister Yeung, having retrieved the Golden Blade, returns to camp to report to the Matriarch and Sixth Son that Fifth Son is seeking refuge in a monastery in Mount Wutai and that Fourth Son has married the barbarian princess. Fourth Son misses the family. He convinces the princess to let him return to see his mother, vowing to return after seeing her. This pledge he keeps. Not long after, the barbarians once again threaten China. On the instructions of the Matriarch, Sixth Son orders his son, Chung-bo, to lead a platoon to Muk Or Fortress to obtain the "dragon-felling" timber with which to break the siege of the barbarians. Chung-bo is escorted by Mang Leung and Chiu Tsan. The chief of the fortress is Muk Kwai-ying, who is attracted to Chung-bo. In exchange for the timber, she wants Chung-bo to marry her. When he refuses, she captures him and forces him into marriage. She then burns down the fortress to follow Chung-bo to save the country. On return to camp with the timber, his father castigates him for violating military rule in agreeing to marry while he is still in service. Sixth Son sentences Chung-bo to death. He is saved with the timely intervention of the Matriarch and Lord of Virtues. However, Sixth Son refuses to acknowledge Kwai-ying as his daughter-in-law. An angry Kwai-ying challenges Sixth Son to a duel, but Lord of Virtues persuades Sixth Son to let her prove herself in battle. Reinforced by Fifth Son and monks from Mount Wutai, and the help of Fourth Son from within the enemy camp, the barbarians are finally defeated by the Yeung family.
