内容介绍 :	The orphan girl Ah Fong was kidnapped when she was young and subsequently sold to the villain husband and wife team Ah Kao. When she grows up, Fong is forced to prostitute, and she runs away at the first opportunity. Tai-keung the rickshaw driver meets Fong when she is in poverty and ill health and takes her home. Keung lives in a grass root neighborhood where everybody looks out for each other, and Fong is moved by the camaraderie. Kao finds out the whereabouts of Fong, and tries to take her away by force. Fortunately, Brother Seven, a seasoned fellow of the underworld comes to the rescue; but Fong still has to repay money to Kao every month. Keung and his friends decide to work harder to save up enough money to help Fong, who finds a job in a restaurant. One day Master Au, a neighbor, is taken ill suddenly, and the community has no choice but to use the money they save for Fong for Master Au's treatment. Since the time for repayment is due, Keung asks Sei Kan to cooperate in a heist. Kan is a petty thief by trade, and decides to help the cause. Unfortunately they are caught, and Keung is on bail waiting for his trial. Knowing that Keung takes the sacrifice for her sake, Fong goes back to work in the restaurant as a coutesan. When Keung finds out, he is displeased, and Fong has to stay away from Keung for the time being. Keung tries to drown his sorrows in the bottle, and often goes to the restaurant and makes a scene, humiliating Fong in public. The Manager Sze-to Lai comes to Fong's defense, and Keung breaks into a fight with Lai out of misunderstanding. During the fight, Lai finds that Keung has an identical birth mark like his, and suspects that they are brothers, so he asks Keung's foster mother to testify. It turns out both Keung and Lai are truly brothers. Lai's parents ask Keung to come up for re-union, but Keung will not leave his foster mother and friends behind, so he decides to stay behind with Fong, and lives his life as a rickshaw driver with his foster mother and his friends.
