内容介绍 :	Wong Fung is a film director making a softcore fantasy, Lurid Dances in the Palace of Demons. He exploits Chu Yuk, a dancing girl, to seduce a rich overseas Chinese, Chin Sau-pak, so that he invests in the production. Sau-pak agrees, but on condition that Yuk takes up the female lead. Siu Ming and Mui Lai are drama graduates dedicated to making cinemas. Ming is employed as a production assistant in Wong Fung's crew. Lai and her neighbours, Kam Shui and Cheung Kin, are employed to appear as extras in the picture. Kin is given the part of the One-Legged Immortal; Shui plays the part of Chai Kung, the Beggar God; while Lai plays the Fairy but is required to appear in a bikini. She refuses. Wong Fung swears at her and she walks out. Ming follows her but fails to cool her down. Wong Fung directs the scene in which Beggar God battles the One-Legged Immortal, but the filming is chaotic and Wong Fung resorts to his bag of inferior techniques. Sau-pak regards the whole exercise as juvenile but Wong Fung explains that the standard of the audience is inferior and that there is no need to be serious. He convinces Sau-pak that a softcore fantasy can indeed make money. Shui and Kin work overnight for meagre pay which is just enough to buy bread. Still angry, Lai rebukes her colleagues for continuing to work for Wong Fung. Finally, the two recognise their mistakes. Ming works out his own screenplay and with Kin's assistance, they set out to make a good picture. (Extracted from the film brochure)
