内容介绍 :	Yu Boon-sin is the eldest son of a landlord Yu Hung-fat. Addicted to gambling, he notches up a mountain of debts from loan sharks. When Boon-sin and his wife ask his sickly father for money to pay off his debts and a division of the family fortune, Hung-fat suffers a stroke and dies. Madam Tsui, Boon-sin's stepmother, now runs the family affairs. Boon-sin is selected to join the army but he bribes the security chief to free him from the draft, and have his stepbrother, Boon-cho, replaced him. This is Boon-sin's plan to get rid of Boon-cho so as to inherit all the family fortune. Boon-cho leaves for the army and is not heard since. Rumours have it that he has been killed in a battle. Boon-sin then sells the estate's farm to solicit his gambling fund. He is arrested after he accidentally kills the nephew of Village Chief Siu during an argument. In order to secure Boon -sin's release, Madam Tsui is forced to spend a night with Siu. Boon-sin exploits this by accusing Madam Tsui of disgracing the family name, and expels her and Boon-cho's wife, Lan-fong, from home. One night, Boon -cho unexpectedly returns home. In front of his brother, Boon-sin accuses against his mother and wife for adultery. At this point, the county government stages a series of raids on illegal gambling dens, arresting Boon-sin and the corrupt village chief for covering up illegal gambling activities. A maid tells Boon-cho the truth about his mother and wife. The misunderstanding is finally resolved and they are unitScript Continuity (Based on viewing of the film)
