内容介绍 :	Fairy Wong was originally a sacred tortoise. More than a thousand years ago, he could not stand the suffering of people on earth and thus rescued them without authorization. As a result, he was demoted to the earth by the mother of Jade Emperor (the highest Goddess in heaven in the Taoist religion). Wong is reborn into a peasant family and is named Wong Cho-ping. His job is to look after the sheep for the Lau family and his relationship with the maid Hsiao-lan is good. Because of this, the young master of the family always sets Wong as the target of criticism. Wong is secretly helped by the Goddess Kwun Yum. Kwun Yum appears in Wong's dream. Wong follows her instructions and requests the Taoist way from the Taoist master of the Red Pine Temple. He is given a Taoist scripture so that he can cultivate himself according to the Taoist principles. Several years later, Wong's cultivation has greatly improved. Before his death, the Taoist master gives Wong advice about his future career. Wong decides to farewell Hsiao-lan and wander around China alone to save people from suffering. Wong poses himself as master and provides free medical treatment and prescriptions everywhere. Consequently, his reputation is widely spread. Wong Siu- eh is fond of gambling and intends to sell his wife to a brothel. The affair is settled by Fairy Wong. Although the invincible army generals in heaven are not satisfied with Wong for his performing magical tricks without authorization, they are calmed by Goddess of Mercy . The villagers are troubled by poisonous water. Wong discovers that the Taoist priest Yun Tong has unexpectedly disguised himself as Wong in order to accumulate wealth. The two of them thus start a contest in magic tricks. Yun Tong is defeated and the villagers further appreciate Wong's virtuous deeds. Wong's hometown is suffering from drought. He begs for rain with the villagers but fails. It turns out that this is the will of heaven and Wong asks the fairies on how he can solve the problem. He then converts his own blood into rain and save the villagers. Because of his act, he is finally able to become a fairy.
