内容介绍 :	Rich widower Koo Tin-hon knocks down Tsui Mung-sheung in a car accident. He puts her in a private hospital operated by Ching Chun-fung. There, Chun-fung learns that Mung-sheung was forced into prostitution because her father committed suicide as he was unable to repay debts to gambler Hok Lo-tung. Chun-fung arranges for Mung-sheung to become Tin-hon's housekeeper. Soon, they fall in love but Tin-hon's daughter, Heung-yu, does not like Mung-sheung. One day, Lo-tung appears and threatens to expose Mung-sheung's background. He poses as Mung-sheung's cousin and becomes intimate with Heung-yu. He also gains Tin-hon's confidence and is given control of the Koo's company. Accountant Auyeung Bun, who is Heung-yu's lover, resigns his post because he does not like Lo-tung. Lo-tung steals company funds and frames Bun with the theft, Bun is then arrested and jailed. The company soon closes down. Lo-tung next tries to elope with Heung-yu but Mung-sheung intervenes. She tells Lo-tung that she has $100000 stashed away and would run away with him. She then kills him by poisoning his drink. Mung-sheung tells Tin-hon and Heung-yu the truth and as a result, Bun is released from prison but Mung-sheung is arrested and imprisoned. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
