内容介绍 :	Millionaire Chow Chung-shan has a son, Yat-fung, who is a never-do-well. His wife Mak So-chun wants their adopted daughter Lee Sau-kuen, a benign lady, to marry Yat -fung. But Chung-shan opposes it, for Sau-kuen is in fact his real daughter from his abandoned lover Lee Ming-chu. After giving birth to Sau-kuen, Ming-chu was abandoned by Chung-shan. She sent the child back to Chung-shan and becomes a social butterfly to make ends meet. Chung-shan falls ill. Yat-fung takes control of his company. The deputy manager, Ma Hang-tin, defrauds company funds and conspires with Ming-chu to trick Yat-fung into a relationship with her despite Sau-kuen's grudges and the advice of Ho Fong-tat, a loyal company clerk. When Ming-chu discovers that Yat-fung's father is Chung-shan, she executes a plan of vengeance against him. She moves into the Chow house and refuses to move out. Chung-shan is at his wits' end and tells his family that Ming-chu is the daughter of a very rich man. Chung-shan tells Ming-chu that Sau- kuen is her daughter, leading Ming-chu to arrange Sau-kuen to marry Hang-tin. Not knowing Ming-chu's plot, So-chun proposes that Ming-chu marry Yat-fung. A disappointed Sau-kuen decides to accept Fong- tat's proposal of marriage to spite Ming-chu. Finally, Ming-chu divulges the truth to Sau-kuen and then exposes Hang-tin's fraudulent deeds. Yat-fung resolves to turn over a new leaf and to work for a better future with Sau -kuen and Fong-tat. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
