内容介绍 :	At the Christmas eve, the writer Jim Kei drinks in the restaurant. He recalls the unforgettable experience of four years ago. He had a well paid job. He used to send greeting card to his good friend since childhood, Hung Kit, at Christmas. One mid-night, he meets a beautiful lady called Mimi. Her lively character attracts Jim Kei. After dating with her, they gradually fall in love. When Jim Kei goes to a club for the wealthy to broaden his horizon, he meets Mimi and then finds out she is a social butterfly. What she tells him in the past are lies that makes him really angry and he breaks up with her. Then Mimi's sister On Lei tells Jim Kei about Mimi's past, he finds out that Mimi is forced to take up this job to earn a living for her family. The two sink their disputes, and they decide for an engagement. However, Mimi revokes the marriage and runs away. Jim Kei cannot find her and is really frustrated . Later on, they meet again and it turns out that she is already married. But she becomes a social butterfly again as her husband is addicted to gambling and drugs. Jim Kei then decides to intervene for her and goes to settle with her husband. He cannot imagine Hung-kit is Mimi's husband, so he gives up. Before long, Hung-Kit commits suicide. Mimi also dies of a deadly disease. Jim Kei then has no intention to work and just drinks his sorrows away.
