内容介绍 :	Ching Siu-kuen , who comes from a rich family, is a student at the Kamdo University. She and her classmates decide to compete in a school drama performing a Cantonese opera. Siu-kuen boasts that she can persuade opera star Sun Ma Si-tsang to be her teacher. On the advice of her father, Ching Suet-chai, Siu-kuen enlists the help of Chiu Yuk-ting, proprietor of a bookstore. She fails to get a meeting with San Ma Si-tsang, but finds that one of Yuk -ting's employees, Fung Yat-cheung, is a spitting image of Sun Ma Si-tsang. Yat-cheung is persuaded to pose as the opera star and become Siu-kuen's teacher. Yat-cheung agrees only because of the fee which he needs to marry his fiancee, Ah Fung, who works as a servant in the Ching household. When Yat-cheung assumes his duties as Siu-kuen's opera teacher, Ah Fung misunderstands that he has a change of heart. The misunderstanding is further aggravated when Ah Fung overhears a rehearsal whereby Yat-cheung proposes to Siu-kuen. Also eavesdropping is Siu-kuen's mother who then approaches Yat-cheung to discuss marriage with her daughter. Finally, the misunderstanding is cleared. Yat-cheung finishes his duty as a teacher and with the money earned, prepares to marry Ah Fung. (Extracted from the film novel.)
