内容介绍 :	Cheung Ka-fuk is a newspaper novelist. He loves Ah Ling, who sells movie tickets at a cinema house. Ah Ling's real name is Chan Lai-king, daughter of a rich family in her home village. In order to prove that she can lead an independent and self-sufficient life, Lai -king boldly goes to the city to work. Unbeknown to her, her father arranges for her to marry Ka-fuk. The two lovers therefore have no idea that they are a pre-matched couple. In order to break the chains of an arranged marriage, Ka-fuk asks his friend Ma Yeuk-wan to act as him and marry Lai-king. Yeuk-wan, thinking that Lai-king is Siu-yuk, a cinema girl whom he loves, agrees. Since Ah Ling knows that Siu-yuk loves Yeuk-wan, she, in her turn, tries her best to screw up the marriage. Ka-fuk's father arrives in the home of the Chan family and reveals that Yeuk-wan is an impostor. When Yeuk-wan calls Ka-fuk to come and explain matters, Ka-fuk pretends to be an imbecile, hoping that the Chan family will call off the arranged marriage. As a result, Yeuk-wan is arrested by the police, and Ka-fuk is taken away to a mental hospital. Finally, the misunderstanding is cleared and the right partners are matched.
