内容介绍 :	The world-renowned Han's Circus is now performing in Hong Kong, a newspaper reporter Soong Chau holds an interview with the female circus master Han Ying-hao. The Han's Circus is founded by the late father of Ying-hao. She deeply impressed Soong Chau. Her younger brother Ying-chie is the trapeze performer in the circus. He has a lover Siao-mei, a crew member of the Circus, and they have known each other since childhood. One day, a great local film producer Huang Da-wei and his beloved daughter Mona come to watch the famous circus perform. Mona and Ying-chie soon grow fond of each other, and she urges her father to give him a pull in the show business to pave his way to stardom. The next day, Ying-chie removes the safety net before the show to manifest his dexterity. Reporters' dazzling flashlights divert Ying-chie's attention and he falls from great heights. His right leg has to be amputated in order to save his life. Alarmed on the knowledge of his becoming a cripple, Ying-chie leaves quietly and lives as a recluse. Since no one can take over the role of the trapeze actor, Ying-hao wants to dissolve the circus. In such a stalemate, Ying-chie appears, having been moved by Soong -Chau's description of the crucial situation. Then he takes pains in training up Siao-mei as his successor. The latter finally overcomes her timidity with the magic of love and makes a great success in the first performance. Finally Ying-hao consents to the marriage with Soong-Chau at the expense of her career. Upon their departure, Ying-chie leads the crew to bid them farewell, quite unwillingly; the animals trained by Ying-hao can hardly bear to depart from their mistress, and this greatly moves Soong-Chau. At the end, Soong-Chau decides to give up his journalistic post and joins the Han's Circus; and he swears to fight side by side with troupe.
