内容介绍 :	Chow Tai -ming and some good friends establish a public clinic for the poor. However, it runs out of funds and is on the brink of shutdown. Tai-ming's father has arranged Tai-ming to marry Chiu Bik-lin as he wants a grandson to continue the bloodline. He promised to pass on the family heritage to Tai-ming once a baby boy was born. Tai-ming objected to arranged marriage and left home. Now in view of the financial crisis of the clinic, Tai-ming decides to give himself up. Bik-lin and Ho Kei-yui are lovers. In order to get money for her father's medical treatment, Bik-lin accepts the marriage unwillingly. In the wedding chamber, Tai-ming entirely reveals his situation to Bik-lin . He suggests keeping their relationship nominally. Later, Tai-ming makes his effort to arrange meetings for Bik-lin and Kei-yui. In the process, Tai-ming gets to know Kei-yui's sister Siu-ling. They gradually fall for each other. Tai-ming plots to make Bik-lin give birth to a baby boy. He pays a pregnant woman for her baby. Unfortunately, the woman gives birth to a baby girl. At this moment, he chances to pick up a baby boy on the sidewalk. The new hospital is in operation. Tai-ming lies that he has to go for a long trip abroad. In fact, he has divorced Bik-lin. Kei-yui and Bik-lin are free now, and so are Tai-ming and Siu-ling. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
