内容介绍 :	Guo Dechang and his wife run a florist shop in the city. They have two daughters: the eldest, Qiaozhen, and the youngest, Yuzhen. Although Qiaozhen is an adopted daughter, who was entrusted to the couple by a neighbour, Granny Niu, the family leads a harmonious life. One day, Qiaozhen's real mother, Shen Aina, returns from Southeast Asia and visits Granny Niu, asking for news of her daughter. Granny Niu is in a dilemma about what to do, but gives her the address of the florist shop. When fleeing from war, Aina lost husband. In order to survive, she became a prostitute. Qiaozhen was then only two years old. The dancehall manager, Wu Yongren, secretly sent her daughter to Granny Niu. Ashamed of her profession, Aina does not want to acknowledge Qiaozhen as her daughter. Granny Niu discusses the matter with the Guos and they decide not to tell Qiaozhen. Meanwhile, Aina, to see Qiaozhen, buys flowers from the shop everyday. Eventually , Aina asks Xiao Niu, Granny Niu's son, to tell Qiaozhen the secret. Thus, mother and daughter are reunited. One day, Qiaozhen witnesses a client taking advantage of her mother. She runs away in disgust. When Aina pursues her to explain, she falls and hurts her ankle. Due to her injury, she is unable to work and has trouble making ends meet. Seeing her mother's plight, Qiaozhen is depressed. Xiao Niu is forced to inform the Guos who welcome Aina as a houseguest.
