内容介绍 :	Choi Siu-ang is in love with Ho King-sun, but her mother, a widow, arranges for Siu-ang to be married off as the concubine of Assistant Manager Chu. Chu puts Siu-ang under the care of servant girl Ah Bo, sequestering her in a separate house. The neighbour, Ko Pan-wan, has offered help to Siu-ang and the two become close. Mrs Chu hires somebody to spy on her husband and learns of his secret . When Chu is perching on the balcony when he sees his wife crossing the street coming towards the house. Alarmed, Chu is quick-witted enough to ask neighbour Pan-wan to pretend to be Siu-ang's husband. From then on, the relationship between Siu-ang and Pan-wan grows more intimate. While meeting in a restaurant one day, they come across King-sun. Aware that King-sun is Siu-ang's former lover, Pan-wan works hard to bring the two together once more. When he learns that King-sun is to return to his village, Pan-wan informs Siu-ang. With Ah Bo's assistance, King-sun and Siu-ang finally run away together. Chu's secret love nest is eventually exposed by his wife. (Extracted from the film novel.)
