内容介绍 :	Chan Sau's garment business is in trouble and he needs financial assistance from his good friend, Ho Pak-chuen. He had arranges for his daughter, Chan Lai, to marry Pak-chuen's son before they were born. Hence, he wants her to stop seeing boyfriend Ho Chi-fai, unaware that Chi-fai is in fact Pak-chuen's son. Chi-fai lives with his good friend, Ho Wan-tin. Lai's best friend is Yee-man. To raise money for a charity school, Yee- man invites Lai to sing an episode of Cantonese opera at a concert. Meanwhile, Pak-chuen and Sau arrange a matchmaking meeting between their children. Chi-fai asks his friend Wan-tin to dress as a maid and negotiate with Sau on his behalf , but this manoeuvre is seen through by Sau. On the day of the meeting, Lai and Chi-fai respectively ask their best friends to stand in, thus leading to a match between Wan-tin and Yee-man. In order to win over Sau, Chi-fai pretends to be a rich man's son paying him a courtesy visit. Sau is on the verge of cancelling the marriage agreement with Pak-chuen, when the latter appears at the scene. As the various parties come face-to- face, everything becomes clear. The concert takes place with Lai and Wan-tin going on stage to perform. Sau welcomes Chi-fai into his family and his business gets the aid it needs. (Extracted from the film handbill.)
