内容介绍 : | On the surface, Ah Lik is the right-hand man of Brother Sing, the gang leader of the Tsimshatsui Eastern District, but he is in fact an undercover agent for the police. In wiping out the evil forces, Lik originally takes the orders from Uncle Fong, but he is, on this particular occasion, put under the command of Chief Inspector Suen. Suen is unbearably arrogant towards his subordinates. During the pursuit of Sing, he shoots the latter to death and Lik is extremely sad. Lik then pledges loyalty to Brother Tai. Tai is a man of affection and faith. He takes good care of his followers. He has long-term grudges against another gang leader Brother Man. The latter has an entirely different style of handling things. He is extremely ruthless. Like Ah Lik, Ah Bong is also an informant. He gives allegiance to Brother Man. Ah Lik and Ah Bong come across Milky Fai in a bar. The three like one another and become sworn brothers. Fai has an unconstrained disposition. He considers his son his lifeblood. Ah Lik and his girlfriend are on the verge of separation. On the other hand, his love with the younger blood sister of Ah Tai is budding. The latter has a rebellious character. She cannot communicate with her elder brother. Lik mediates between them, and this facilitates the interactions between Ah Lik and the girl. Brother Man has already suspected that someone inside the gang is betraying him. He feigns a false situation, inducing Fong and the operation team to make a raid for the ferocious robbers. The team is severely attacked and Fong is killed. Ah Lik can hardly absolve himself of the blame. Nai Wong Fai reveals to Ah Lik that he once trod the same path of Lik. He constantly faced paradoxical situations and found difficulty in differentiating between evil and good, and also between policemen and gangsters. In the end he could not turn back. The identity of Ah Bong is ultimately exposed and he is brutally killed, thus enhancing Lik's awareness that an undercover agent is leading an illusory life Ah Tai is gradually tired of doing evils. He wants to retreat from the front line and leads the remaining life in peace. In the end, he has a showdown with Brother Man. At that moment Suen leads his team to the spot. Both are loaded with heavy weapons and the two sides open fire at each other, resulting in the dead and the wounded lying all around. In the end the rascals are entirely annihilated. Lik lets Tai escape alive and Inspector Suen is severely injured. Lik's task is finally accomplished and his love with Tai's sister has yielded positive results. |
