内容介绍 :	It is Mrs. Hung's strategy to pick out her sons-in-law from among her tenants. The eldest son-in-law was selected in this fashion. So it is a big event when the Hungs announce the recruitment of a new tenant. But the second daughter, Lai-wan, opposes this kind of dating and marriage arrangement, so she deliberately turns a cold shoulder to the new tenant, Kwok-wai. She also gives her cousin, Sau-chu, her word that she will not go along with her mother's plan and develop a romantic relationship with the tenants. Chu herself doesn't like this arrangement either, although her family also believes that this is an effective way to find a husband. The tenant Wai-chung is interested in Chu but she has already been seeing a man, David. Although Wan is at first very much against the idea, the other party, Wai, with the encouragement of the younger sister, Lai-ha, starts pursuing Wan and gradually wins her over. In the course of courtship, some misunderstandings inevitably occur. One time, when David has a date with Chu, he is held up by the boss' daughter, Sissy. He therefore asks Wai to keep Sissy occupied, which arouses Wan's jealousy as she thinks Wai is involved with another woman at the same time. Wai then realises that Wan is serious about the relationship and takes the opportunity to propose to her. Wan agrees only on the condition that Wai will move out of their home and stop being a tenant. At the same time, when Chu and David are about to get married, Chu's father's finds it hard to resist Chung's generous offer of money and attempts to force Chu into marrying Chung. He even threatens to spoil the wedding if Chu takes no notice of his warning. Finally, Ha thinks of a way to stop him and the two couples can hold their wedding ceremony in peace.
