内容介绍 :	To Man-hok is framed by the treacherous minister Yim Sung. In order to capture Hok, a reward is given by the government and the city comes under the curfew. Hok hides at his sworn brother Chow Yan's house. When Tung, the cunning prosecutor arrives, he discovers Hok and order the army to seize Hok. Hok becomes imprisoned. When the butler of the prime minister, Yim Nin, hears Hok has a pretty wife, he asks Tung if he can have Hok's wife, Leung. Tung gives an official post to Yan in exchange for Leung. Yan agrees. When Yan gets home, his decision is objected by his wife, Dip. Dip sacrifices her life to replace Leung. Leung listens to their conversation and is moved. To preserve the blood continuity of Hok, Yan marries Dip to Nin, in place of Leung. At the wedding party, Hok tries to poison Nin but he fails. Tung drinks the wine and dies. Dip tries to assassin Nin but fails and arrested by the army. To punish her, Dip is beaten up by Yan. Dip is badly hurt. Dip fights to uphold her chastity and makes an escape. While Hok is on his way to city of Bin Leung, he hears his wife is marrying Nin. Since he does not know Dip replaces Leung, he is so upset and pledges to revenge. When he arrives at Bin Leung, he is set free and sends a page to look for Leung. Meanwhile, Leung dies from an illness while fleeing, her son is adopted by an old servant. Years later, Hok's case is redressed and his government post reinstated. Misconceiving that Yan has betrayed him, Hok sentences him to death, only to be intercepted by a posthumous note left by his wife praising Yan's righteous deeds.
