内容介绍 :	Sima Kwok-bun, Manli, Susanna and Alexander are schoolmates and good friends. Kwok-bun and Manli have grown up together and loved each other since childhood. Suddenly Susanna discovers she has gotten a fatal illness. Her father asks old Mr.Sima to let Kwok-bun marry her daughter and accompany her in her remaining lifetime. Mr. Sima agrees so as to repay the favors of Susanna’s father, but Kwok-bun strongly refuses and states that he only loves Manli. His father is very angry, because Manli’s mother works in his family as a servant. He really doesn’t want his son to marry the daugther of a maid. He thus expels Manli and her mother from home. Manli’s mother agrees to leave the house so as to thank for her master’s favors of providing tuition and life expenses for Manli. Kwok-bun urgently looks around for Manli and finally finds her. Moreover he decides to leave his father and supports their living by self-reliance. He works together with Manli in a night club. Mr. Sima cheats his son back by saying he is sick. He makes use of Alexander to take sexy photos of Manli and makes the pictures public by giving him a huge amount of money. Mr. Sima wants to make relatives misunderstand Manli’s character. Manli’s mother commits suicide in shame. Luckily she is rescued. However, Manli could not explain the photos. On the other hand, Kwok-bun misunderstands Alexander and beats him heavily. Alexander tells him the truth that he would like to use twenty thousand dollars to pay for him and Manli to study abroad. And he returns money back to Mr. Sima. After that, all people say that Mr. Sima is wrong and scold him. He feels compunction. When Susanna die, all attend her funeral. When Manli and her mother are leaving, Kwok-bun urges them to stay, but fails. At last, Mr. Sima is aware of his mistakes, so he agrees to let them marry, and they became a happy couple.
