内容介绍 :	The Heartbreak Flower tells the story of a village girl Leong Lai-yung who flees with her mother to Hong Kong as war refugees. Lai-yung finds a factory job but loses it when the factory is closed down. Lai-ping runs into her ex-classmate Cheung Chi-ping, who helps her with the rent. Chi-ping moves in to stay with Lai-yung and her mother, and gradually falls in love with Lai -yung. Ch-iping later receives news of his father in Malaysia and leaves for Malaysia to be reunited with his father. Lai-yung falls into hard times and is evicted from her premises. Her mother dies and she is forced to become an ' escort'. Chi-ping returns to Hong Kong in search of Lai-yung, hoping to marry her. Chi-ping's father opposes the marriage and Lai-yung commits suicide in grief. Despondent, Chi-ping resolves to fight in the war.
