内容介绍 :	Rich man's son Yeung Chiu-yin is married to Lo Pui-king, but keeps a mistress, the songstress Luk Ho- hing. Luk becomes pregnant and Chiu-yin wants to have her as his concubine. To his surprise, Pui-king agrees to let Ho-hing live in the same house. Pui-king seemingly treats Ho-hing like a sister, in fact , she has murderous intent. One day, Pui-king sees the heavily pregnant Ho-hing standing besides the stairs and decides to push her down the stairs. Ho-hing fortunately is brought to the hospital in time and safely gives birth to a baby boy. Conspiring with her uncle, Doctor Lau, Pui-king has Ho-hing falsely proclaimed as suffering from tuberculosis. Thus Ho-hing is quarantined and separated from her baby. Meanwhile, Chiu-yin is called to Shanghai on business. At this point, war breaks out and Chiu-yin is unable to return home. Pui-king has exiled Ho-hing to isolation in a villa and builds a false grave to misinform Chiu-yin that Ho-hing is dead. When Chiu-yin is able at last to return home, he is heartbroken at Ho-hing's demise. Seeing that her husband still misses Ho-hing terribly, Pui-king uses the boy as a hostage to force Ho-hing to leave and never return. Pui-king agrees to let Ho-hing see the boy one last time. However, Chiu-yin hears from the boy that his mother is still alive. He goes to the villa and is reunited with Ho-hing. An angry Pui-king now plans to kill the boy by giving him poison but Pui-king's daughter takes the poison by mistake and dies. Pui-king becomes mad with grief. She dies with hatred in her heart.
