内容介绍 :	Cheung Siu-ling is a popular opera singer. In her early years, she was working as a secretary in a company whose manager, Chan Tai-yu, desired her. Siu-ling, however, is attracted to a colleague, Lee Tak-kwong. They decide to live together , against the wishes of Tak-kwong's feudal-thinking father who cuts off his financial assistance. A jealous Chan Tai-yu then sacks Tak-kwong. Unemployed, Tak-kwong falls ill. Siu-ling pleads for help from Tak-kwong's father who agrees to help his son on the condition that Siu-ling leaves him. Siu-ling goes to Singapore to become a songstress while Tak-kwong recovers, consoled by a new girl friend, Wong So-ying. On the wishes of his parents , Tak-kwong marries So-ying. At this time, Siu-ling returns from Singapore and meets Tak-kwong. In a chase, Siu-ling is knocked down by a car. Dying in hospital, Siu-ling's emotions are further compounded by the knowledge that Tak-kwong has married another woman. Though Tak-kwong's parents now repent of their opposition, it is toolate.
