内容介绍 :	Chiu Pui, a junior bank clerk, moves to Peach Blossom Fount with his old father, wife Ching-han and sister-in-law Oi-chu, in a hope to start a new business. Chiu Pui has a younger brother Chiu Ping who is a teacher in Peach Blossom Fount. Unlike his elder brother, Ping is an honest and down-to-earth man who lives in a rooftop hut on meagre earnings. Ping has a neighbour Long -long who is a dance hall girl. She secretly admires Ping, but Ping is in love with Oi-chu. Pui squanders all the savings and the whole family has to take shelter in Ping's hut. One day, Ping bumps into his former classmate Bobby, an all-rounded broker. Bobby introduces Ping to a rich businessman Leung Yam-suen. Yam-suen is attracted to Ching-han, and conspires with Bobby and Long-long to get close to her. Yam-suen pretends to hire Ching-han as his secretary and brings her to his home. He makes Ching-han drunk and forces his way on her. Fortunately, the two brothers learn about Yam-suen's shady plans and arrive in his home in time to save Ching-han . Being chastened, Pui resolves to turn over a new leaf, while Ping and Oi-chu tie the nuptial knot. (Based on viewing of the film and the film novel.)
