内容介绍 :	Taking advantage of Emperor Chun's absence during a military expedition, Concubine Lau conspires with eunuch Kwok Wai to snatch away Concubine Lee's baby, putting a leopard cat in place of the baby. Palace maid Kau-chu is instructed to take the baby away and kill it, but Kau -chu is unable to do the deed. With the help of Chan Lam, a loyal minister, the baby is given up to the Eighth Lord for safekeeping. On Emperor Chun's return, Concubine Lau slanders Concubine Lee for giving birth to a leopard cat. Consequently, Concubine Lee is banished to the Bik Wan Palace, and Concubine Lau is promoted to Queen. Queen Lau still bears no son. Eighth Lord thus proposes that she adopts a son, who turns out to be the prince. Lam brings the prince to Bik Wan Palace, but the child's identity is seen through by Kwok Wai, who then sets the torch to Bik Wan Palace. Kau-chu gets wind of the conspiracy and informs Concubine Lee, urging her to run away. However, Kau-chu is exposed and on orders of Queen Lau, is beaten to death. Eighteen years later, the prince has succeeded to the throne and becomes Emperor Yan. Judge Pao carries out duties in Chenzhou. During the journey, the wind blows away his hat, and as a result, he comes across Concubine Lee. Thus, Judge Pao disguises himself as King Yama to hold a night session court with Kwok Wai as defendant. The truth is finally revealed. In the end, Emperor Yan acknowledges Concubine Lee as his mother. ( Based on the synopsis of the Cantonese opera.)
