内容介绍 :	Chin Lai-po is forced by unscrupulous husband Lai Ying-choi to become a dance hall hostess. When Ying-choi has to go on the lam, Lai-po leaves the dancehall and on a friend's recommendation, takes up a job as a tutor in the home of a rich businessman. When Ying-choi returns, he learns of his wife's new job. Fooling his wife into thinking that he has turned over a new leaf, he asks his wife to recommend that he be hired to work in the businessman's jewellery company. Ying-choi then sets out to exploit his wife's beauty in an effort to destroy the businessman's family. Finally, Ying-choi plots to murder the businessman, and rob him of his fortune. At the critical moment, Lai-po by catching the bullet meant to be for the businessman. She is killed by Ying-choi, thus ending a life of misery. (Based on a newspaper synopsis.)
