内容介绍 :	Tang Sai-cheung and his wife Lee Yim-fong are war refugees fleeing to Hong Kong. Accompanied by Yim-fong's mother, the group wants to cling on to his uncle Ng Do-tak. They arrive in Hong Kong as complete strangers and are cheated by con men of all their money. At this time, hawkers Leung Ah-bo and Ma Lau -ming are rebuilding their home destroyed by a fire when they overhear a gang of thugs arguing over the sharing of loot. Ah-bo and Lau-ming retrieve Sai-cheung's belongings on the ground and set out to hand them over to the police. By chance, they bump into Sai-cheung and his family on the way; the belongings are returned to their rightful owners. As a result, Sai-cheung, Ah-bo and Lau-ming become god-brothers to each other. The next morning, Sai-cheung sets out to find uncle Do-tak. But his wicked uncle cheats Sai-cheung of all his money on the gambling table at a masquerade. After his attempts to flirt with Yim-fong fails, Do-tak throws Sai -cheung and his family out of the house. His daughter, Mei-ping, tries to stop her father but is scolded for her good intentions. She leaves home in anger, and sets out to look for Sai-cheung. With the help of Ah-bo and Lau-ming, Sai-cheung starts a herbal tea shop. Business is booming, but Do-tak sends his thugs to set the shop on fire. Fortunately, no one is hurt, thanks to Ah-bo and Lau- ming. Indignant at her father's moves, Mei-ping confronts Do-tak and talks him into redemption. However, Do-tak's immoral deeds are too far-gone to save him; he is killed by a foe with a score to settle.
