内容介绍 :	Episode Witch - Controlled by a temple keeper Second Master Hu, Yu Banxian performs pseudo supernatural power at a temple of a remote village. The ignorant villagers believe that Yu Banxian has the power to call back the spirits of the dead. In springtime, meningitis hits many children of the village. Mothers bring their sick children to Banxian to seek cures from god. They are given burnt incense ashes, to be mixed with drinking water, as medicine. The disease also hits Banxian's own son, but Hu refuses to let her child receive any medical help. Instead, he asks Banxian to attend to the sickly son of the village bigwig Financier Zhou. Banxian's son dies. Realising the harm that superstition has caused, she shatters the shrine and incense burners, causing a fire that gutted the temple. As she runs out of the burning temple, she utters cries of accusation to the whole world. (Based on viewing of the film .) Episode Devil - Fan Zhenhong ia an addicted gambler. He owes a local despot Master Lei money but yet he wants to borrow more, using his daughter as surety. Again, he loses all the money on the gambling table. Zhenhong lies to his friend Old Wang that his daughter is ill and needs money to foot her medical expenses. In fact, he wants to get funds for gambling. He soon squanders all the money. One day, Zhenhong snatches the handbag belongs to Old Wang's wife. Feeling ashamed, Zhenhong returns the handbag to Old Wang. When he returns home, he meets Master Lei who has come to claim his daughter. Before she leaves, she bombards Zhenhong and describes him as a devil, not a human being. Zhenhong finally learns a lesson, he is determined to quit gambling and turns over a new leaf by working with Old Wang. His wife and daughter eventually forgive his misdeeds. (Based on viewing of the film) Episode Man - Xu Zonghui is an accountant. His wife Lifen takes care of the housework and their son. They live happily together, until the day when Lifen asks Zonghui for some money to send to her mother. Zonghui objects. Hence, Lifen eats and spends less to save money for her mother and secretly remits money to her mother. Zonghui discovers this and quarrels with his wife. Lifen leaves home and finds a job. Zonghui has to spend more time taking care of his son. This is at the expense of his work. He has to go to work late and leave the office early. But this costs him his job. Lifen returns home when the son falls ill. She learns that Zonghui's old father has also fallen ill. She sends the father money she has earned. Zonghui realises that he is wrong and selfish. He is finally reconciled with his wife. (Based on viewing of the film)
