内容介绍 : | Wong Tai is a henpecked husband. His wife, Madam Lau, has passed on her domineering nature to her daughter Wong Yin, who goes on to exercise even more control over her own husband, Ho Fan. Unable to bear it any longer, Wong Tai suggests Ho Fan to pretend to be drunk so that he can drum up his macho attributes and be brave enough to confront the wife. The plan works for a while. Wong Yin, after seeking further instruction from Madam Lau, eventually forces Ho Fan to confess that he was put up to it by Wong Tai. Madam Lau punishes Wong Tai by making him kneel before the statue of a god, Chai Kung, and vows that she will not change her attitude unless Chai Kung is reincarnated and comes back to earth. Wong Tai immediately comes up with another plan. During the party of Madam Lau's 50th birthday, Wong Tai and Ho Fan dress up as Chai Kung. Manifesting as the god before Madam Lau and her daughter respectively, the two men castigate them for abusing their husbands and ordering them to change their attitude. Both women fall for the ruse, and become meek and humble before their husbands. However, when Ho Fan's father finds the costume of Chai Kung in his luggage, Wong Yin realises that she and her mother have been duped. She goes and tells her mother about it. Realising that the game is over, Wong Tai advises Ho Fan to divorce his wife, but Ho Fan is reluctant to do so. Wong Yin overhears this and is moved by her husband's affections. She now realises that what she has done is wrong. Madam Lau, too, realises that she has mistreated Wong Tai. The two couples live together with respect thereafter.
