| 内容介绍 : | Zhu Yingtai disguises herself as a male student to go to college. She becomes a close friend of classmate Liang Shanbo, and falls in love with him. Three years later, Shanbo is still unaware that Yingtai is a woman. Commanded by her family to return home, Yingtai takes leave of Shanbo. On her return, she learns that she has to marry into the Ma family. Shanbo arrives for a visit and is made aware that Yingtai is a woman. The lovers express their desire for each other and are unwilling to part. Shanbo reluctantly leaves but later falls ill from yearning, and dies from a broken heart. On the day of her wedding, Yingtai rushes to the grave of Shanbo. Grief -stricken, she dies by the grave. (Based on the original folktale.) |
