内容介绍 :	Red Rose is a popular song girl performing in Daguanyuan Fairground, and is sought after by warlord Zhao Yihu. However, she is in love with teacher Zhang Wenhua. The lovers meet inside the Iron Buddha Temple daily so as to evade Yihu, but Yihu's aide, Li Debiao, learns of their romantic liaisons and informs Yihu. Wenhua is arrested and imprisoned. Debiao visits Wenhua's father, instructing him to ask Red Rose to submit to Yihu as the only way to secure the safe release of Wenhua. Red Rose agrees on condition that the maid Ah Feng escorts Wenhua to the border guaranteeing his safety. A year later, Wenhua returns to the village, still unable to forget Red Rose. He pleads with Ah Feng to let him see Red Rose. Ah Feng hides him inside a trunk which is then transported to the warlord's headquarters. There, the two lovers are reunited and spend a night together. The next morning, Wenhua hides inside the trunk to be brought back to the village, but during the journey, Wenhua is discovered. Once again, he is arrested. That night, on a bright moon, Yihu is entertaining Red Rose with a banquet. Suddenly, Wenhua is taken out and summarily executed. Red Rose is shocked; she pulls out a gun and shoots down Yihu. Red Rose, mortally wounded by Yihu's guards, staggers to where Wenhua has fallen, and dies by the side of her lover.
