内容介绍 :	A millionaire dies, leaving his fortune to his wife and two children. The boy is abandoned in the streets by an evil uncle. Efforts by the mother to find him come to naught. The lost child, now an orphan, is befriended by a young man who brings him home and adopts him as his brother. However, the young man's mother submits the boy to cruel treatment. A vagabond player takes pity on the boy and makes him an apprentice, training me to perform with monkey Ah Sam, and the dog Ah Tsoi. Ten years pass. The travelling showman is imprisoned after a quarrel with a fellow performer. The boy is left to fend for himself. The widow and her daughter pass by and are immediately attracted to the boy. When told that his master is in prison, the widow brings the boy home. The vagabond player comes out of prison and claims back the boy. The widow discovers a jade buckle left by the boy, which identifies the boy as her long lost child. The widow sets out to find the boy, but he has departed with the vagabond player on tour. Several adventures befall the boy and his master. Ah Sam dies of an illness, then the master is beaten to death by his rival. The boy returns to the home of his sworn brother, who brings him back to his mother. Mother and son are finally reunited. The evil uncle receives his comeuppance when he is beaten to death by a man nursing a grievance. (Extracted from a newspaper synopsis)
